With the convenience of your own home charging station, you can plug-in your Nissan LEAF® overnight—just like you would with your cell phone—and you’ll be all set for the start of a new day. And with Nissan LEAF® NissanConnectSM EV you can easily find public charging stations on your route, when you need to recharge on-the-go.
The Nissan LEAF® gets up to 107 mile range when equipped with the 30kWh battery. How does it achieve these remarkable numbers? With a 100% electric drive system powered by an advanced rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and nine range-maximizing features that help you go farther on every charge.

A flat underbody meshes with a front spoiler and rear diffuser, letting it slip through the air with minimal resistance. Up front, headlights deflect air away from the side mirrors, further reducing drag while minimizing wind noise and maximizing range.

The available photovoltaic solar-panel rear spoiler converts sunlight to energy, charging its 12V accessory battery and helping power accessories like the stereo, climate control, and headlights.
The display screen shows your current battery charge, and tells you how much power your interior climate control and other systems are using. The electric motor meter indicates power use during acceleration or regeneration, as well as during coasting or braking, as energy is converted back into the battery pack. Based on all this information, the Energy Economy page offers efficiency-boosting tips.
With the available NissanConnectSM EV information system in your vehicle, you can find a nearby public charging station, schedule an off-peak charge for optimal savings, or activate your pre-set climate settings—so your Nissan LEAF® is ready when you are. The NissanConnectSM EV smartphone app lets you remotely start a charging session or activate your heat or A/C, all while providing real-time charging and range status.
Park. Reverse. Drive. All the normal settings are there. But why settle for normal? Shift the advanced drive selector into B-Mode to increase the regenerative braking force, and brake response.
You free up an awful lot of room when you take out things like transmissions, oil filters, and radiators. With the 60/40 split rear seats up, you can fit in three child seats, and still have space for your golf bag in back. Fold them flat, and you’ll have a generous 30 cubic feet of versatility—including a handy cargo well that lets you keep valuables out of sight.
Parking is a snap with the available Around View® Monitor. Using four cameras, the system creates a virtual bird’s-eye-view of the Nissan LEAF®, and transmits the image to the LCD monitor, for easier parking.
Take away the guesswork when it comes to your tire pressure. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System alerts you when the pressure is too low in one of your tires. When you're filling your tires, Easy-Fill Tire Alert lets you know with a friendly beep of the of the horn when you've reached the correct pressure.
